The driver

The driver is the company.

His name is Mert. He quotes your fare, answers your booking, tracks your flight, and he is the one standing at the kerb when you land.

Mert, the owner and driver of Bilinga Transfers

He started it because of one complaint.

Those numbers are Mert's personal record, earned trip by trip over two years driving rideshare on the Gold Coast. The driver they describe is the driver you get.

Two years of rideshare driving on this coast, and the same story came up over and over: a booking cancelled with no reason, no car at the hour everyone needs one, flights missed, and flights made after a nervous drive.

At the busiest hour of a travel day, the apps could not promise a car. That is the gap this business was started to fill.

A cheap ride only helps if it turns up.

The car that turns up.

The car

Take the meeting on the way.

A 2024 Tesla Model 3. No engine noise, acoustic glass all round and a ride that stays smooth the whole way. Take a call from the back seat and nobody will know you are in a car.

Or close the laptop and say nothing at all. Either way, it is a quiet hour.

  • 4 passengers
  • 2 large bags
  • 2 carry-on
  • One car, one driver

Passengers wrote the tagline.

Over two years of rideshare driving, passengers stepping out of the car kept saying a version of the same thing: smooth drive, on time, clean car.

That is where smooth, quiet, on time comes from. Nobody wrote it as a slogan; it is what passengers said.

New, and built on a record.

No call centre, no roster, no subcontractor. The person who takes your booking is the person who drives, so once he accepts it, his name sits against your flight number.

Bilinga Transfers is new. Your booking is one of the first, and it will be driven that way.
